Her background as a middle school teacher instilled in her the importance of clear communication, audience engagement, and creative storytelling—skills she now leverages to effectively connect with Curtis Strategy’s audience. Specifically, her experience in the classroom taught her how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, a skill that translates seamlessly into crafting impactful marketing campaigns.
Furthermore, her passion for education and social justice has instilled in her a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the nonprofit sector, making her a valuable asset to Curtis Strategy and its clients. Carolyn holds a BA in Elementary Education and History and a Masters in Literacy.
